“I protect” is a graffiti which calls for the protection of traditional houses weakened by property quests and chaotic town planning. Following the criminal explosion in Beirut, these houses were horribly damaged. Photographed by the famous Elie Bekhazi, this graffiti became the emblem of an art auction, which aimed at raising funds for the reconstruction of the city. Several copies of the photo were sold during the auction.
